The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful.
During my stay, I found the location quite distant from the village, requiring a bicycle or taxi, which was inconvenient. Additionally, I was disappointed that the complimentary breakfast didn't include warm dishes without an extra charge. The Wi-Fi connection was not dependable, and it seemed like an issue throughout the island rather than the property itself.

I had an amazing stay for 7 nights! Sean and the staff were super kind and knowledgeable. The double room was clean and the shared bathroom was well-maintained. Loved the delicious breakfast and the beautiful reading nooks. I'd definitely come back!

Oh man, the Belgian waffles for breakfast were to die for! Plus, the lovely picnic tables in the back made for perfect outdoor dining. The room was spacious, clean, and the sitting area felt just like home — cozy and inviting!
While the location is a tad removed from Kilronan, making it quiet, we loved the peace. But for some, that might be a stretch to bike or cab into town. Still, it was a gem overall!

The room I stayed in was charming and spotlessly clean. The complimentary breakfast exceeded expectations, especially the fresh porridge with berries. Renting a bike from the lodge was easy and affordable, making it simple to explore stunning spots like Dún Aonghasa and the Wormhole. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing great tips on local attractions. However, the 'private' bathroom was located outside the room and lacked a lock, which felt uncomfortable. Although there was a good variety at breakfast, I was disappointed that warm dishes required an additional cost of €10. I appreciated the communal kitchen and fridge, which added convenience during the stay.

Ideal for solo travelers seeking peace
I really enjoyed my time there, the staff were super helpful and it felt like home. I rented a bike to explore, and it was great cruising around and seeing the sights like Dun Aonghasa and the beach.
it wasn't the most affordable but good enough for what you get.

Amazing Views and Thoughtful Hospitality
I had a fantastic time staying here! The views from the lodge are absolutely breathtaking, especially with the proximity to Dún Aonghasa and the Wormhole where I even spotted dolphins! Seán, the host, went out of his way to help us, including driving us from the ferry, and Brenda truly ensured we had everything we needed. It was the perfect quiet retreat to unwind after exploring, but I did wish the walls were a bit thicker for added privacy.
